Injuries Reported In Poughkeepsie Bus Crash

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Poughkeepsie firefighters responded to a two-car crash involving a school bus on Monday which resulted in five people going to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Poughkeepsie Fire Chief Mark Johnson.

The crash occurred at 4 p.m. between a small school bus and a vehicle at the intersection of Winnikee Avenue and Cottage Street, Johnson said.

Two adults and three children received minor injuries and were transported to local hospitals, he added.
